Back in the early 70s, being the youngest of four siblings I was the “taste tester” of my father’s home-made BBQ sauce. Over time, my dad, William H. Bell, developed a perfect balance of ingredients into a most magnificent, tangy, thick sauce with an unforgettable aroma of spices and natural herbs that stimulated the senses as our taste buds danced to a silent song. Just by the sauce alone! Dad taught me everything and as he shared his sauce with family, friends and co-workers across our hometown of Tuscaloosa, Al, it became my passion and promise that one day I would share his recipe with the world.
